The BRING IT movement challenges New York City students to reduce waste through advocacy and action.
The BRING IT movement encourages students to reduce plastic waste by taking one action every day: Bring a reusable water bottle. By bringing a reusable bottle, one person…
…can keep up to 167 plastic bottles out of our trash each year.
By taking this one action every day, the next leaders of New York City can create a healthier city and planet—and help achieve the City’s goal of Zero Waste by 2030.
To support students, New York City, in partnership with S’well, is giving over 320,000 reusable water bottles to every public high school student so they can BRING IT every day. The first year of BRING IT will be supported with a wide range of programs and events that foster knowledge around sustainability, cultivate mentorship opportunities and encourage students to take action for their schools, city and planet.
